CSK to open new establishment at Wageningen Campus
CSK food enrichment today announced its plans to open a new establishment at Wageningen Campus in The Netherlands. CSK will bundle its marketing, sales and R&D activities in the new Plus Ultra building, centrally located at Wageningen Campus. CSK expects that the opening will take place in the first quarter of 2017. As part of its recently renewed strategy, CSK takes this step towards maximizing its innovative strength.
“CSK has an ambitious growth strategy in which market-oriented innovation plays a determining role. We have therefore decided to bundle our marketing, sales and R&D in a single inspiring work environment”, explains Sanne Melles, managing director of CSK. After the recent construction and occupation of the ultramodern production facility of CSK Leeuwarden, the opening of this high-profile establishment in Wageningen is a new investment that reflects the ambition and growth of CSK food enrichment.
The Plus Ultra building developed by Kadans Science Partner has a total floor area of 7,500 m² (80,000 sq ft), of which CSK will let approx. 3,000 m² (32,000 sq ft) of which will be allocated for state-of- the-art- laboratories, research facilities, workspaces and a pilot plant. The building is located at Wageningen Campus, the home base of Wageningen University and Research Centre and other innovative enterprises in the food industry. The campus has been specially designed to promote intensive cooperation between the government, business community and knowledge institutions.
R&D director Wilco Meijer and Marketing & Sales director Andre de Haan will be cooperating from the new establishment in Wageningen. Wilco Meijer: “Wageningen Campus forms the heart of the international Food Valley and offers an inspiring climate for cooperation and talented professionals.” Andre de Haan: “We want to further tailor our product development to the needs of our customers as part of our ambition to improve support to the dairy industry.”
